Emily graduated magna cum laude from Saint Leo University in 2020 where she earned her BA in English with a specialization in creative writing. Her work has been published in You Might Need to Hear This, The Thing Itself Journal, Pinky Thinker Press, Herstry Blog, Backlash Press Journal, Ponder Review, The Write Launch, Progenitor Art & Literary Journal, iō Literary Journal, Eclectica Magazine, Salmon Creek Journal, Gaia Lit, Moonstone Arts Center's Nasty Women: In Celebration of International Women's Day Anthology and International Workers' Day Anthology, Capsule Stories, The Parliament Literary Magazine, Detour Ahead, PopMatters, The Dollhouse Magazine, Parhelion Literary Magazine, Sad Girls Club Lit, Red Cedar Review, Inklette Magazine, The Dandelion Review, and Sandhill Review. She currently has a poem forthcoming in Sidereal Magazine.
Previously, Emily has served as assistant editor for Sandhill Review. She was also employed as a writing tutor/paper editor at Saint Leo University for two years from 2018-2020. She currently works as a freelance content writer and as the social media coordinator for Lee Reed Insurance.
At the moment, she lives in Orlando, Florida with her partner. When not writing, she can be found tending to her houseplants, cuddling with her cats, and devouring frozen pizza.
